Themed Seminar Topics
A themed seminar is presented by a graduate student during month A. This seminar should conclude with natural product structures that fit the theme (chosen by the graduate student presenter)
This seminar will be a survey of selected natural products and key steps from their syntheses provided the discussion is theme appropriate. The seminar should also highlight the common methods and strategies employed to prepare the themed motifs. The concluding display of themed natural products should promote discussion and the subsequent selection of one or more natural products for analysis and presentation at a following meeting (month B).
